Would children do better with selfstudying rather than school?

Children often don't tend to be that attentive in class due to the presence of their peers and often don't understand concepts. Whereas, in self studying children can understand more concepts in a better way using online/physical resources. School is important for social life as well but children can make friends in another place like : parks, clubs and various other places. The question is : Is It really worth spending so much money sending your child to school? If they can retain information better by themselves using online resources?. Sure children can get distracted online and self studying but that's why we have resources which help to limit screen time of various apps. If you believe your child is spending too much of their time on YouTube or too much time on electronics you can simply add digital control platforms like : parental controls(good for andriods) and apple controls(obviously for apple). You can also add digital balance which is much more stricter compared to the rest. Overall, I strongly believe that schools are just a profit making organisation now when children can retain more information by simply self studying with digital resource.
